An Exciting Start To The School Year!

Well, yesterday was the start of Religious School at Temple Beth Orr! It was a wonderful first day!

I got to meet the parents of my sixth grade students and speak about the curriculum of Hebrew Reading, Prayer, Holidays, and Israel. I met all of my students, talked about the year regarding the curriculum as well, and talked about classroom behavior which includes respect, encouragement, and support. We did some choral reading (reading together as a group) to start warming them up. Tuesday night we will formally begin. The vibes were good, there were lots of smiles, and I am encouraged that it will be an awesome year!

At Temple Beth Orr I will be teaching an adult Hebrew reading class on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 8:30 starting October 4th. Email or call me for details. I love teaching adults, so I can’t wait for the class to begin.

I started at Temple Sollel today for the school year! What a great morning there! Singing, dancing, a lot of participation! It will be an awesome year there as well.

This week will be my first very heavy week of the school year. Giving the following several months a lot of thought on how to keep my stamina going. I gotta make it through the school year. I think there will be a couple of things I will have to give up. My husband and I spoke about one of my decisions at lunch time today.

I am really hyped up because the vibes couldn’t be more perfect.

Well, I better get off the computer and get what I need to get done, done!
