What a wonderful Bar Mitzvah ceremony yesterday.

My student did awesome! He helped to lead much of the service and read Torah beautifully. The guests were wonderful.

What was very exciting was that several of the guests were from Hondurus, therefore, they knew little to no English. Knowing this, last month I added Spanish to the Sidur that I have for my students. My student’s Mother helped me with some of this and after gifting me a Spanish/Hebrew Sidur, I added more. Now, most of my sidur has Spanish for those that need in addition to, of course, Hebrew, transliteraton, and English.

The reception was a lot of fun, especially dancing to some of the Hispanic music! It was a great evening!
